Template

Templates are used throughout the Firebird software to control the look of reports, grids and the online programme.

Document based reports including

  • Abstract Book
  • Invoices
  • Presenter Index

Table based reports are used for editing how grids through out the software appear.  This is useful if you want to add a column to a grid

Example

Add Presentation Type Column to the Submission Grid.

Default Template

A Default Template is one that is automatically generated by the Firebird software.

The layout and content of the template is predefined and will give a good result for most scenarios.

If a Default Template needs to be modified then it is copied into a Custom Template and the Custom Template can then be edited and used instead of the Default Template
